Awards, publications, scholarships, & accomplishments: AmeriCorps Volunteer Service Education Award; PTS Award recipient; graduating With Distinction; contributed to How Long Will I Cry: Voices of Youth Violence published this spring by DePaul Outreach Press; studied abroad in Kenya, 2012 and Morocco, 2012.

Favorite Courses at DePaul: Quite possibly, all of them. But in particular: Writing Childhood with Prof. Miles Harvey; Travel Writing (in its various forms) with Profs. Michele Morano, Ann Stanford and Barbara Schaffer; and New Journalism with Prof. Craig Sirles.

Post-graduation plans: I want to go everywhere, to do and see everything, to try understanding everyone.Then I want to write about it.
